The Young Reader 3 Apples Book Award

Guidelines for Nominations

1. Beginning September 1st of each year, nominations are accepted from New York State children in grades PreK-2 or ages 3-8.
2. One nomination per child is allowed.
3. Your nomination must be a specific title, not a whole series.
4. Nomination forms are available from your school or public librarian, or can be printed from the Three Apples Book Award website, www.3applesbookaward.org.
5. Nominations must be submitted through your school or public library.
6. Only nominations with complete information will be considered.

DEADLINE for submission is OCTOBER 31ST.

The 3 Apples Book Award is a joint program of the Youth Services (YSS) and School Library Media (SLMS) Sections of the New York Library Association (NYLA).
